askMID Login

There are two ways to login askMID Portal:

1. Free Public Vehicle Insurance Check (The most common use)

This check is for confirming if a vehicle is insured on the Motor Insurance Database (MID). This process does not require a password or traditional login.

• • Go to the Official Check Page: Navigate to the dedicated "Check Your Vehicle" section on the AskMID website (which is now branded as "Navigate").
• • Enter Registration: Input the vehicle's registration number (license plate).
• • Accept Terms: Read and accept the necessary data protection and user declarations.
• • Click Check: Select the button to "Check this vehicle."

The system will then instantly display whether the vehicle is showing as insured or not.

2. Login for Official Account Holders

This process is for registered users like insurance companies, police, or other frequent corporate users who require a full login to access more detailed system features.

• • Find the Login Portal: Navigate to the official AskMID (Navigate) website and locate the designated "Login" or "Sign In" button for account holders.
• • Enter Credentials:
• • Input your registered Email Address (or Username).
• • Input your Password.
• • Click Login: Click the final login button to access the secure portal.

Note: If you are logging in for the first time as a new user, you may be prompted to change the initial password provided to you. If you have forgotten your password, look for the "Forgotten your password?" link on the login page.
